Let me make something clear by stating that President Morsi’s hatred for Jews and Zionists is a sham.

If anything, its this sort of religious fanaticism that Israel plays on.

See America? See why we have control/secure the Middle East?

Mr. Morsi, Bassem Youssef is free to do as he pleases…as is Jon Stewart, who ironically, has taken the liberty of criticizing Israeli policy in the past.

Mr. Morsi is no Muslim. Mr. Morsi is an Islamist. His religion is Islamism, not Islam. His followers are either fearful, ignorant, uneducated, or simply fanatical. Nonetheless, they do nothing but pose a danger to Egypt’s stability. Moreover, they weaken the possibilities of a liberal democracy flourishing in Egypt.

As for Syria, according to an article on the U.K.’s The Telegraph [click here for link to article], the Syrian government has reported that its army has captured thirteen French Soldiers on Syrian soil.

Not surprisingly, and yet somehow surprisingly, the French government denied these claims, though not absolutely, according to the Telegraph article.

Opponents of Asad would say this is pro-Asad propaganda, initiated either by the West or whomever else they can blame. As for supporters of the regime, this find might only reinforce their predispositions: the so-called ‘Syrian Revolution’ is a foreign conspiracy.

French troops or not, the position of the Asad regime and its internal supporters as well as international sympathizers remains: a foreign conspiracy meant to destabilize the country and further the goals of colonialists in region is unraveling.

The truth is ominous, as always, but when all the murkiness fades, and all emotions are set aside, it becomes more and more apparent that perception is molded by one, ultimate factor:

Conviction.

So, in the midst of all the political mayhem ensuing, I am forced to ask:

What do you believe?

illuminate

My religion and spiritual question has been the cause of my life. The source is a certain thing, I cannot open here but it’s okay. I wonder, because I question, and yet, in contradiction, I believe, so vehemently in my path, for many reasons, pure and impure. But I am me, and my Lord is One, and my freedom is nigh, and my question will die, soon, before long, I’ll see with my eye.

Believing in yourself.

God will take me where I need to go. I will do what I can. Fakes will invoke the devil to make themselves seem greater than you. There is no greater. There is only freedom.
