What exactly is democracy?

The term human rights holds no weight…

It’s something I’ve learned here in America. Whether or not it applies to the rest of the world I can’t be too sure but I would give them the benefit of the doubt.

Here in America where the emphasis is on individual rebelliousness people don’t have the patience or time for being concerned with human rights.

I don’t have time for that, they say. That’s for dictators! They should embrace our freedoms and liberties!

That’s commonplace here in the land of the free where self-interest is not only patriotic it is the moral high-ground.

But there is much irony and discrepancy surrounding this over-glorified depiction of America.

I looked into former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein’s human rights track record and while what I found was horrific it was no surprise.

Hussein is responsible for the overall deaths of one million of his own people, through torture, murder and bombings.

However what really caught me by surprise was the following:

Since America is a so called majoritarian democracy, I thought it would be insightful to put its self-touted exceptional democracy to the test.

What I found was quite startling.

Since the 2003 March invasion of Iraq led by the U.S. which had the supposed purpose of deposing the ruthless Saddam, the campaign has claimed the lives of 500,000 Iraqis.

That’s half a million Iraqis dead in a decade. Saddam ruled Iraq for nearly 3. The math is there.

Are we any better than Saddam?

They say the road to democracy is riddled with the blood, but at this point, history has me guessing: what exactly is democracy?

LE FASCISME

LE FASCISME

Mind-boggling the audacity these guys have. I am starting to believe that they are in fact the descendants of the Third Reich – as extreme as that might sound. Likening Obama to an ape is not racist according to the Right – but then again neither was the death of Trayvon Martin.

It’s like these guys, their cohorts – and their constituents – are completely blind to the incidents of the last decade, and the escapades of former president George Bush. Why are Republicans so keen on attacking the left for its propaganda but are quick to dismiss right-wing propaganda aimed at justifying war abroad?

Both former presidents Eisenhower and Carter warned about the influence of institutions like the military-industrial complex on american politics (home and abroad) – Kennedy warned us about the dangers of zionism and imperialism (no wonder he was killed). Putin is a Nazi for annexing Crimea but Bush is hailed as a saint for ‘saving’/colonizing/plundering/raping/destabilizing’ Iraq.

The party of double standards, you seem to be, dear GOP. With the likes of characters like Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Ron Paul, Ted Cruz (and the extended family which includes the Limbaughs, Palins, Glenn Becks, O’Reillys) – the Republican party is advertising itself on a platform of fundamentalism, dogma and conflict. Honestly the aim of all governments in the modern world should be to preserve human dignity and diversity – and all the media in America (the West really) seems to be portraying the Republican method as the savior of all mankind – yet, this method has only brought war, famine, crime, and instability to the international community.

The Right wants to fan the flames of paranoia and ego – blaming communist Russia and China for everything – even two decades after being crippled to death by Reaganomics. They want us to believe every leader in the world is a tyrant and that the West will save all men from tyrants to the proliferation of fundamentalistic democracy (yes, the same method that ushered in the victory of Hamas over Fatah in Palestine and the Muslim Brotherhood over liberal movements in Egypt).

So it seems to me like all this talk of spreading democracy and human rights is – in the words of Joe Biden – complete malarkey. Not to say that democracy is nonsense – on the contrary – but I think the method is all wrong, especially because it is designed to do anything but institute genuine democratic foundations wherever they are exported. I believe all these paranoias were carefully designed, orchestrated by a solid group of individuals seeking to usurp mankind and rob us all of our rights. That force is the anti-human – the above-human. I’d call it imperialism. It has no nation – no people. It is a religion – dominance. Theft and dominance. It isn’t capitalism because even capitalism is just in certain aspects. Imperialism – or, anarcho-capitalism as Noam Chomsky might call it, is entirely distinct, keen on fueling strife, instability and serving few individuals at the expense of many. In a perfect world, which we may someday attain once these brute forces are recognized, exposed and eliminated, we’d have a united nations that preserves the dignity, sovereignty, and autonomy of all nation-states by encouraging systems of mixed economies, preserving individual rights as well as ensuring collective prosperity.

I want to be politically vocal about everything I believe. I believe in Justice and Freedom. Free the Middle East from the bondages of global elitism and zionism. I am not afraid to say it.

My religion and spiritual question has been the cause of my life. The source is a certain thing, I cannot open here but it’s okay. I wonder, because I question, and yet, in contradiction, I believe, so vehemently in my path, for many reasons, pure and impure. But I am me, and my Lord is One, and my freedom is nigh, and my question will die, soon, before long, I’ll see with my eye.

On the History and Orientation of Jews

According to Sigmund Freud, in his book “Moses and Monotheism”, Moses was killed by Jews who rebelled against him. The religion, Judaism, was thus born, out of the grief and guilt felt by the group of Jews responsible for his murder.

Freud explains that years after the murder of Moses, the rebels regretted their action thus forming the concept of the Messiah as a hope for the return of Moses as the Saviour of the Israelites. Freud said that the guilt from the murder of Moses is inherited through the generations; this guilt then drives the Jews to religion to make them feel better. (from Wiki)

What does that mean for the Jewish religion and the Jewish people?

If we were to treat mere Monotheism, or the belief in One God, as the only “true” religion, what would that say about all the labels, religions, rules and customs that we observe in the community of so-called believers?

Republican — The Guise of Being ‘More’ American

Republicans have lost their battle for social dominance. The American people have become too liberal. Now, the only thing the conservative lobby has left to hold on to is this propagandized idea that the Republican Party is more free-market oriented than the Democrats, and that anything outside the realm of Republicanomics is either socialist, Nazi, or Islamist.

Chill…okay?

First of all, dear conservatives, you can’t try to control people’s social lives and call yourself a free-marketeer. That is just bullshit. We all know what happens in the end. Eventually, social-control leads to the abuse of power, and then to the end of freedom altogether, including free enterprise. Saudi Arabia is a perfect example of this — private enterprise mixed with theocracy.

Second of all, you Republicans tote this idea of being more supportive of American enterprise, yet, I hear things like Mitt Romney putting his money in Swiss Bank Accounts. And this was the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee. Not to mention Sarah Palin, whose entire career is financially supported by ignorant conservative soccer moms who have nothing better to do than idolize an imaginary type of existence — conservatism.

What does it mean to be conservative?

Celibate?

Do you not have bad thoughts?

Do you only work 24 hours a day with a 20 second break?

Do you never stop breathing while you are at work busting your ass earning all that money you inherited from mama and papa?

Does it mean you attend church more regularly?

Does it mean you never drink, never smoke, never think of sex?

Does it mean you support extremes that don’t exist just so that you can justify your maliciousness?

I think so.

Republicanism and conservatism is a disease of the mind fueled by millenniums of fear driven politics and traditions. It all has to do with the individual’s fear of what he is or is not allowed to do in the eyes of God as well as the individual’s potential desire to try to defy God so as to appear greater than Nature and ultimately, to avoid social equality.

That’s what I think.
