What exactly is democracy?

The term human rights holds no weight…

It’s something I’ve learned here in America. Whether or not it applies to the rest of the world I can’t be too sure but I would give them the benefit of the doubt.

Here in America where the emphasis is on individual rebelliousness people don’t have the patience or time for being concerned with human rights.

I don’t have time for that, they say. That’s for dictators! They should embrace our freedoms and liberties!

That’s commonplace here in the land of the free where self-interest is not only patriotic it is the moral high-ground.

But there is much irony and discrepancy surrounding this over-glorified depiction of America.

I looked into former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein’s human rights track record and while what I found was horrific it was no surprise.

Hussein is responsible for the overall deaths of one million of his own people, through torture, murder and bombings.

However what really caught me by surprise was the following:

Since America is a so called majoritarian democracy, I thought it would be insightful to put its self-touted exceptional democracy to the test.

What I found was quite startling.

Since the 2003 March invasion of Iraq led by the U.S. which had the supposed purpose of deposing the ruthless Saddam, the campaign has claimed the lives of 500,000 Iraqis.

That’s half a million Iraqis dead in a decade. Saddam ruled Iraq for nearly 3. The math is there.

Are we any better than Saddam?

They say the road to democracy is riddled with the blood, but at this point, history has me guessing: what exactly is democracy?

I want to be politically vocal about everything I believe. I believe in Justice and Freedom. Free the Middle East from the bondages of global elitism and zionism. I am not afraid to say it.

On the History and Orientation of Jews

According to Sigmund Freud, in his book “Moses and Monotheism”, Moses was killed by Jews who rebelled against him. The religion, Judaism, was thus born, out of the grief and guilt felt by the group of Jews responsible for his murder.

Freud explains that years after the murder of Moses, the rebels regretted their action thus forming the concept of the Messiah as a hope for the return of Moses as the Saviour of the Israelites. Freud said that the guilt from the murder of Moses is inherited through the generations; this guilt then drives the Jews to religion to make them feel better. (from Wiki)

What does that mean for the Jewish religion and the Jewish people?

If we were to treat mere Monotheism, or the belief in One God, as the only “true” religion, what would that say about all the labels, religions, rules and customs that we observe in the community of so-called believers?

Republican — The Guise of Being ‘More’ American

Republicans have lost their battle for social dominance. The American people have become too liberal. Now, the only thing the conservative lobby has left to hold on to is this propagandized idea that the Republican Party is more free-market oriented than the Democrats, and that anything outside the realm of Republicanomics is either socialist, Nazi, or Islamist.

Chill…okay?

First of all, dear conservatives, you can’t try to control people’s social lives and call yourself a free-marketeer. That is just bullshit. We all know what happens in the end. Eventually, social-control leads to the abuse of power, and then to the end of freedom altogether, including free enterprise. Saudi Arabia is a perfect example of this — private enterprise mixed with theocracy.

Second of all, you Republicans tote this idea of being more supportive of American enterprise, yet, I hear things like Mitt Romney putting his money in Swiss Bank Accounts. And this was the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee. Not to mention Sarah Palin, whose entire career is financially supported by ignorant conservative soccer moms who have nothing better to do than idolize an imaginary type of existence — conservatism.

What does it mean to be conservative?

Celibate?

Do you not have bad thoughts?

Do you only work 24 hours a day with a 20 second break?

Do you never stop breathing while you are at work busting your ass earning all that money you inherited from mama and papa?

Does it mean you attend church more regularly?

Does it mean you never drink, never smoke, never think of sex?

Does it mean you support extremes that don’t exist just so that you can justify your maliciousness?

I think so.

Republicanism and conservatism is a disease of the mind fueled by millenniums of fear driven politics and traditions. It all has to do with the individual’s fear of what he is or is not allowed to do in the eyes of God as well as the individual’s potential desire to try to defy God so as to appear greater than Nature and ultimately, to avoid social equality.

That’s what I think.

Pemex Oil Explosion Raises Question

Why does Mexico, which is supposed to be a democracy, run a STATE-owned oil company known as Pemex? Does this not violate Western traditions of free markets and liberalism?

Ah, I get it. In this case, state-socialism in foreign nations is beneficial to the West. Pick and choose, you know?
